The "Silverado Rustics" furniture and decor company was born in the Summer of 2002 in the back yard its' owner - Jeff Pool. With a blend of influences from friends and a life long courtship with fine furniture making, Jeff envisioned a company that would design, build and market a unique line of the very best quality rustic furnishings that could be found.

In a time when run of the mill, mass produced, off shore furnishings seem to dominate the market place, he chose to focus on unique, Canadian made, handcrafted products that are built with patience and pride, tailoring his efforts toward those who appreciate quality and character. As for all the decor and accessories we carry, our policy is strictly this - only unique, handcrafted non-mass produced products that are as local as possible will be allowed in our store. The result - an incredibly unique and beautiful line of furnishings and decor that you will not find anywhere else, period.

All Silverado Rustics pieces are individually handmade by skilled and experienced craftsmen using specially selected, beetle killed lodgepole pine ( we cut no live trees! ), which is responsibly and selectively harvested from mountain plateaus surrounding the North Okanagan Valley of British Columbia, Canada. This wood is a product of the now famous mountain pine beetle which creates a beautiful blue stain in the wood also known as denim or blue denim. We use only the best materials and joinery techniques for every piece we make including solid wood dovetailed drawer boxes, hand rubbed oil finishes and full extension ball bearing drawer slides etc. Even our drawer pulls are individually hand made by our blacksmith....This allows us to confidently offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on every piece we make. Our furnishings truly define the essence of quality and rugged rustic beauty... checking (cracks running down the length of the log), stains, knots and the occasional "bug trail" all contribute to a finished product rich in character with each piece as unique and individual as you are.
